AEOW has published an investigation in partnership with EIC revealing Wagner Group timber business in the Central African Republic. This investigation was presented later on to the EU Commission member states for information.
In a report focusing on human-right abuses in Mali, AEOW researched the Wagner Group chain of command. This work has been used by the Council of Europe in its 10th package of sanctions on Russia on February 25th, 2023.
